A suspected carbon monoxide leak at a Pennsylvania residence has resulted in the death of a Canadian former supermodel, Dayle Haddon, 76, and the hospitalization of an unidentified man. The incident occurred at a million-dollar property in Solebury Township on Friday, prompting an emergency response and subsequent investigation.

First responders arrived at the scene early Friday morning, initially finding a semi-conscious 76-year-old man on the first floor. He was transported to a nearby hospital. Following this, Haddon was located in a second-floor bedroom; however, resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities discovered "high levels of carbon monoxide" within the property, as reported by the New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company. Preliminary investigations suggest that a malfunctioning heating unit is likely the source of the deadly gas. Det. Sgt. Jonathan Koretzky of the Solebury Twp. Police Department confirmed that initial readings upon arrival were extremely high, prompting the carbon monoxide poisoning assessment.

Adding to the severity of the situation, two medics were also taken to the hospital due to exposure, and an officer was treated at the scene for injuries. All three are reportedly in stable condition. The affected property, an "old farmhouse" dating back to 1711, is owned by Haddon's daughter, journalist Ryan Haddon, and her son-in-law, Hallmark actor Marc Blucas.

Ryan Haddon posted a heartfelt tribute to her mother, emphasizing her mother’s role as a champion and inspiration to many. Dayle Haddon had an illustrious career, signing contracts with major cosmetic companies and gracing the covers of prominent magazines. Beyond her modeling career, she was also an author, UNICEF ambassador and founded the WomenOne charity.
