Los Angeles sports teams are launching a collaborative apparel line, "LA Strong," to raise funds for wildfire victims. The initiative, spearheaded by Fanatics, will donate all proceeds to the American Red Cross and the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
The line, featuring a custom logo, will be available for purchase through various team and league online stores, as well as the Fanatics website. Seven professional sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, WNBA, and TMRW Golf League, along with USC and the 2028 LA Olympics organizing committee, are participating.
T-shirts are available now. Hoodies will follow in the coming weeks. The collaboration reflects a unified response to the devastating wildfires that swept through the region this week, displacing countless residents.
"We're heartbroken to see the ongoing devastation and want to help in any way we can," stated Fanatics founder Michael Rubin. "We're proud to partner with the LA sports community on this initiative."
The participating teams include the Lakers, Dodgers, Rams, Chargers, Clippers, Sparks, Angels, Kings, LAFC, Galaxy, TGL Golf Club, Angel City FC, and the Anaheim Ducks. This broad-based support demonstrates the sports community's commitment to aiding those affected by the wildfires.
