Pope Francis warned that school bullying fosters conflict, not peace, during a Vatican address to Italian educators. Speaking to roughly 2,000 attendees, the Pope stressed the importance of actively combating bullying in both schools and homes.
His message highlighted the crucial role of education in fostering peace. Francis emphasized that a commitment to peace begins with imagining it, permeating every subject and nurturing the creativity of students.
"But if at school you engage in conflict or bullying," the Pope cautioned, "you are preparing for war, not for peace."
He also underscored the importance of family dialogue, stating that it is the bedrock of personal growth.
