A Birmingham-based rapper, known as Twista Cheese, has been found guilty of posting a menacing video online. Omar Abdirizak, 30, was convicted at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

The video, allegedly posted between August 1st and 10th, featured content targeting Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon). It was later shared by Robinson on X (formerly Twitter). A charge of spreading false information against Abdirizak was dropped, replaced with the menacing message charge.

Abdirizak pleaded not guilty during a prior hearing. He was granted bail and the trial was presided over by District Judge David Wain. A police officer was the sole witness.

The conviction stems from a period of heightened social unrest across the UK following the tragic stabbing deaths of three young girls in Southport. While linked to the social unrest, the conviction specifically pertains to the content of the video.

Further updates on this ongoing case are expected.
