A 53-year-old man was sentenced this week for a dangerous driving incident on a busy A road. Walerif Mirosznikow, of Chatham Kent, was found nearly four times over the legal blood alcohol limit when he crashed into a roundabout after a series of erratic maneuvers.
Mirosznikow's Toyota Yaris was observed swerving between lanes on the A road. Dashcam footage captured the 10-minute incident, showcasing erratic speeds between 54 and 66 mph. The erratic driving began on the M25 motorway.
The court heard the driver crashed after a period of swerving. Consequently, Mirosznikow received a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to complete 200 hours of community service and attend up to 25 rehabilitation sessions.
